A year at our school
Building Resilience and Confidence
The Goanna Program supports ending the stigma around mental health, focusing on the Indigenous community in Australia. Through mentorship and tailored support, it helps students build resilience and confidence, especially as they transition to high school. By promoting well-being and understanding, the program plays a key role in preventing and reducing mental health challenges. We are proud to see our students complete this valuable program.
Colour Run
Our students had an exciting and vibrant day participating in the Colour Run, an event that combines fun, fitness, and friendship. As they ran, jumped, and laughed through bursts of colourful powder, students embraced teamwork and healthy activity in a joyful celebration of community spirit. It was a memorable experience that left everyone bright, energised, and smiling!
Friday Fun in Action!
Fabulous Friday is an integrated program giving students the chance to explore a wide range of physical education and CAPA activities both on and off site. From gymnastics and martial arts to photography and visual arts, students enjoy diverse experiences that promote creativity, fitness, and personal growth.
Celebrating Reading
Book Week is a much-loved annual event where our community comes together to celebrate the joy of reading. Families enjoy browsing and purchasing books, while students showcase their creativity by dressing up as their favourite book characters in a colourful parade. It’s a fun and inspiring day that encourages a lifelong love of stories and learning.
Egg-citing News in the Library!
We’ve set up an incubator with chicken eggs, and have welcomed our very first baby chicks. Our students are thrilled to watch these little wonders grow! We watch as our chicks hatch and develop. It’s a fantastic hands-on learning experience for everyone!
